This time of the year again. Room parents normally send home letters asking for donations for teacher’s gift. A class of 20 with $10 from each student, I suppose that’s better than each student, or more like each student’s parents, try to come up with a gift idea around $20. That’s fine, but how about a water polo team with 50 families and each was asked to donate $20 for two coach’s gift? Isn’t that a little steep? And the team member normally don’t get to know what was in the little envelope to the coah.
It certainly reduce the intimacy of giving gifts.
