Just watched the movie “The Kite Runner”. A very sad and thought-provoking movie. Although if you have read the book, the movie (like any other book to movie adaption) will probably leave you with some unsatisfaction, I must say the director did a good job and follow the book as closely as possible. Is the past and current life in Afghanistan portraited in the movie are seen through the American lens, we have no way to know. But it sure makes people think.
